Not all women look fabulous in black without wearing a smidgen of makeup. Black tends to drain away color. The trick is to go for pretty color. Think radiant, not discosque. What you want is to apply sheer gold eyeshadow lightly over your eyelids to look like you have got a natural glow. Not like you tried to preen yourself at all. Dip a dry, clean eyeshadow brush into the gold eyeshadow and dust off all the excess. Then go over your eyelids lightly with the brush for that barely there effect.
The next thing you need is black mascara. Apply 2 coats and comb your lashes after each application to prevent clumps. Allow the mascara to dry between applications.
